Set In Its Own Beautiful Grounds In Accrington

Our Doors Are Always Open

As you enter the home you will be greeted in reception. The manager’s offices are located here and we have an open door policy. You will be welcomed into our spacious opened planned dining area and lounge.
The home was purpose built for people using wheelchairs, frames or blind sticks and is all on one level. We have a state of the art kitchen and have a huge conservatory for residents and service users to relax in or maybe use the computers.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

All the bedrooms have been decorated to the choice of the individual and are fitted with bedroom furniture we also have two rooms which are en-suite. Some rooms are fitted with hoists, again depending on the need of the individual.

Some of our rooms also has ceiling tracking for residents requiring hoisting. Many residents have SKY TV and telephone lines in their room at their request and have their own computers. One gentleman Skype’s his parent’s everyday as they live abroad. We have 2 bathrooms both fitted with mermaid chairs. We also have a large wet room and toilets on both corridors so the residents have easy access to these.

We also have a separate laundry room where all washing and ironing is done and then this is returned to the resident’s rooms.

Gardens & Outdoor Leisure

We have many birds, squirrels, rabbits and have even spotted deer in the gardens. Outside we have a large patio area accessible for wheelchairs and walking frames with a small sensory garden.
Throughout the summer we have barbeques on the patio. We also run activities through the day and some residents go out to day centres attending activities of their choice.

We have extensive grounds and run a gardening club in the summer and grow our own vegetables
